Players from Australia, Canada, China, England, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the United States will compete in Singles and Pairs events. This is an opportunity to watch top notch bowls right here in the Southern California. The MAP is the only World Bowls International Federation sanctioned event that directly invites World Class bowlers to the United States. World Bowls has recently been accepted as a member of the Confederation Mondiale des Sports de Boules (C.M.S.B.) a World umbrella body incorporating the sports of Bocce, Petanque and Raffa. C.M.S.B. is already affiliated to the International Olympic Committee thus moving forward the objective for Bowls to become an Olympic Sport.
